  The Odd Sounds Project is a music group created in May 2021 by 4 musicians from the southeast of France.         The group includes:

​Lex, Stan, and Schwartz have known each other for over 20 years and have had several projects together. Elena met them through a musician classifieds website during the Covid period. Coming from different backgrounds and musical genres, they decided to combine their experiences in a single musical project.

​

Despite living far apart, they manage to meet up in residence several times a year to write songs which are then finalised remotely, each member working in their own home studio.

​

The group finds its own creative paths by composing unique songs in self-production. Over the years, they always strive to stay at the top of their craft by mastering the latest mixing technologies.

​

Their lyrics evoke both dark and light themes, drawing on the complexity of the human beings, with its joys, its sorrows, its hopes; the torments of couples relationships, of friendships, of daily relationships, which can be both conflictual or passionate, are all sources of inspiration.

​

They are also inspired by current events, especially world conflicts slowly destroying our world. But always, what will stand out, despite the darkness, will be hope.
